Hello! I have a small "hobby kennel" in NW Illinois where I breed, raise, train and live with German Shepherds. I have Czech-line dogs as I have found them to be very trainable, loving, protective and FUN.
I am breeding for "working dogs", with the ultimate goal of being schutzhund titled, having the ability to track, be obedient, and protect. These traits are proven on the schutzhund field, but even those dogs not competing formally are excellent family companions and pets, as well as being able to do agility, herding, obedience, and advanced scent work.
Since I have raised and trained dogs from puppy to Schutzhund titles, and am an active participant in many dog sports, I feel better qualified to help with the selection of a working-prospect puppy than some other breeders who just buy titled imports and just breed them. There are people who also train, title, work, and know their dogs, as well as breed them, I have had the most success when I deal with this type of breeder. There are many ads for dogs "bred for temperament"... what kind of temperament and in whose opinion?.I test my dog's sound temperament and steady nerves according to the international standards of the WUSV, as well as the AKC and other recognized organizations. I offer proof of good temperament (and working ability, and correct structure, and willingness to obey, and intelligence).
I usually have one or two litters a year, my puppies are AKC registered and guarenteed to be free of hip dysplasia.
Puppies range in price from $800 to $1200.
